Minimalism

 

I chose this picture because it shows vibrant and bright colors and the leaf stands out because it is a darker shade of green. Also, the lines in the fence makes the image stand out

          I chose this picture because it shows depth in the window and the shadow from the window makes it stand out and the pop of color in the left corner gives it more attention.

I chose this picture because it is really simple and shows one of my favorite things and shows little color to make it stand out . 

 1) Write down how you would define Minimalism in Photography. What qualities should minimalist photographs possess?  
 Minimalism in photography means the photo or objects in the photo is smaller and simple and does not have a lot going on in the picture
2) Explore the images found on the links below (and/or do your own web search) and pick three photographs that (based on you defined minimalism) you feel are exemplary examples of minimalism in photography.
